What a year it’s been for Australia.

2017 has been filled with highs and lows.

Moments that divided us and moments that brought us together as one.

As a nation, we raised our voices and had our say over the same-sex marriage debate. We got behind a brother and sister initiative and raised millions of dollars for Cancer vanquishment, we saw an incredible display of forgiveness by a father who lost his 8-year-old son Jihad and we saw Victoria become the first state to legalise voluntary assisted dying.

We lost Aussie men, women and children in the act of living out their passion or doing their daily work. We honoured everyday Australians achieving great feats and we welcomed new Australians to our country.
