How to Make Awesome Rainbow Slime

Rainbow-Slime.jpg

How to make the best rainbow slime that will keep the kids entertained for hours and there are only three ingredients. You can make a ball and bounce it, stretch it, blend it and have a blast!

It's always good to have a batch of slime around the house, it can keep for weeks if sealed in an airtight container too.

The recipe is simple and making it is half the fun!

Ingredients

~ safe, non-toxic school glue

~ liquid starch (easily bought from your local school supply store)

~ liquid watercolour paint or food dye

You will need ~ a set of bowls to mix the slime in, an alternative to this is a wide table or bench area with a sheet of plastic down.

Method ~ It doesn't even require measuring! Just mix equal parts liquid starch and glue in a big bowl. Mix it well, it'll soon be a stretchy, awesome piece of slime.

Simply add colour, the glue and starch mixture will soak up the colour and turn the slime into brilliant hues of blue, orange, red, green, yellow or whatever you want.

If you add all the colours into the big bowl, they'll obviously all mix together, so you can either separate out bits of slime to colour them separately.

Or, simply mix small batches of the glue, starch and colour all at once until you have batches of all the different colours you want.

The slime starts to really look amazing when you put the different colours side by side and parents will understandably find the value in things that can be used again and again.

The kids will absolutely love mixing the colours together, it's an amazing sight as their little hands work the rainbow through and through.

There's no exact recipe, if the slime isn't mixing correctly, just add a little more glue, then a little more starch and fold it all together well.

Have fun!
